JVCKENWOOD to Exhibit at ECR 2022

Showcasing various medical image monitor solutions developed by
applying JVCKENWOOD’s proprietary image/video processing technologies

July 4, 2022

JVCKENWOOD Corporation (JVCKENWOOD) will exhibit at European Congress of Radiology 2022 (ECR 2022), to be held from Wednesday, July 13 to Sunday, July 17 at Austria Center Vienna in Vienna, Austria.

This year, the JVCKENWOOD booth will feature medical solutions centering on medical image monitors, applying JVCKENWOOD’s proprietary image and video processing technologies. These include a lineup of i3 series medical imaging monitors for PACS, designed to improve the efficiency of reading images and provide good harmony with modality devices, and a high-resolution, multi-modality medical imaging monitor, as well as reference exhibits of the latest version of network performance monitoring software, which has earned a good reputation for its user friendliness.

1.   12-megapixel multi-modality medical imaging monitor i3 series CL-S1200

CL-S1200

The CL-S1200 medical image display monitor for breast imaging will be exhibited. A wide screen with a high resolution of 12 million pixels, the highest in the industry*1, supports not only two windows side-by-side for mammography images, but also simultaneous display of CT, MRI, ultrasound, pathology, and various other images. A variety of medical images can be efficiently displayed on a single unit, contributing to increasing the work efficiency, reducing the fatigue on doctors who need to read numerous diagnostic images, and saving working space.

*1 : For medical monitors used for radiology diagnostic imaging (as of March 2022; based on a survey by JVCKENWOOD).

2.   6-megapixel multi-modality medical imaging monitor i3 series CL-S600

CL-S600

The CL-S600 medical imaging monitor for PACS*2, which achieves a 6-megapixel resolution equivalent with two 3-megapixel monitors on a single unit, will be exhibited. With clear visibility come from a high brightness of 1300 cd/m2 and high contrast ratio of 2000:1. Integrated Turbo luminace function which can boost screen luminace and contrast for 30 seconds will inclrease visibility, contributing to finding out low contrast lesions.

*2 : Picture Archiving and Communication Systems. Medical image management systems that receive image data taken by imaging systems, such as CR, CT, and MRI, through networks and store/manage the data.

3.   8-megapixel multi-modality medical imaging monitor CL-R813

CL-R813

The CL-R813, a new medical image monitor for PACS*2. The 32-inch-wide screen area supports simultaneous display of CT, MRI, CR/DR, and various other medical images. It is also possible to freely lay out various application windows, such as viewers, reports, and feedback of AI, on a single screen. Additionally, displayed image comply with the DICOM Part 14 gradation curve, which is required for medical image display. Finally, it features a slim, lightweight design with a narrow bezel, providing a comfortable desktop workspace.

4.  PM Medivisor Cloud, a monitor quality management cloud service for clinics and remote image interpretation

PM Medivisor Cloud is a cloud-based quality control solution that continuously collects, analyzes and accumulates the operating status of monitors installed in various places in the hospital and provides it to the administrator. Since the quality status of the monitor can be checked both inside and outside the hospital, it becomes maintenance-free, greatly improving the efficiency of management work and reducing maintenance costs. In addition, remote management via the Internet can be securely performed via a secure communication protocol. We are proposing solutions that address the challenges of labor shortages and the need for remote medical image reading in the healthcare field, accelerated amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
