In this JVC Run & Music Application (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”) provided by us, location information is handled as follows.
* Information to be Retrieved
In case your location information is needed for use under the Service, your location information taken from your mobile device (GPS, location information used by the network) is retrieved.
* Purpose of Use
Location information is used for measuring distance and calculating your pace while running.
* Acquisition Method
Regardless of whether you are directly interacting with the Services or not (running in the background),
by setting the location information availability function of the mobile device to the ON position, location information for the mobile device can be continuously acquired.
Please note that if you do not permit acquisition of your location information, the following Services will be restricted.
- playing music while running
- measurement of running distance
- pace calculation during running
* External Transmission
The retrieved location information is used only within the Service, and not for any other purpose, and is not transmitted or provided outside the Service.
* Changes
If there is any change in or addition to matters concerning location information, change in the Purpose of Use or External Transmission, or other change hereunder, such information shall be published in this Privacy Policy and announced in the Service.
* Consent
Only use the Service after confirming, consenting to and understanding this Privacy Policy.
When you turn off the location information availability function of the mobile device, retrieval of location information stops.
