Project’s intention

Medical images created by various modalities such as CT, CR / DR, MRI, ultrasound, mammography and pathological device, requiring different types of medical monitors depending on the purpose and resolution. Furthermore, in recent years, the evolution of medical equipment has made it possible to handle a large amount of image data. More and more doctors are using multiple medical monitors side by side, putting a burden on imaging diagnosis.

Therefore, we will release the 30.9-inch 12-megapixel wide color monitor "CL-S1200" that can efficiently display various medical images with one unit. It provides a high resolution of 12 million pixels, which is the largest for a medical monitor, and contributes to improving work efficiency and reducing the burden on doctors.

Key features

1. All-round monitor suitable for multi-modality environment

The CL-S1200 is equipped with a wide screen area of 30.9 inches and a high resolution of 12 million pixels (horizontal 4200 x vertical 2800). Not only two windows side-by-side for mammography images but also other various images such as CT, MRI, ultrasound, and pathology can be displayed, and it is free to arrange the layout of windows. The seamless screen reduces the load of eye movement and provides a comfortable diagnostic imaging environment.

2. Visual Point Mode -the detail you want to focus on

Using Visual Point mode, you can focus on the detail where you want to see. (4 options of area shape)
It can also be used in combination with the turbo luminance function.

3. Increases brightness and contrast to the maximum value to improve visibility

The turbo luminance function can boost screen brightness and contrast to maximum for 30 seconds to magnify identifiable grayscale gradations, contributing to finding out low contrast lesions on mammograms.

4. Optimal gradation for monochrome / color images

The dynamic gamma function (patented No. 6277984) can automatically identify pixels of monochrome and color images to display each of them in the optimum gradation. Various color images such as ultrasound, endoscope, pathology, and nuclear medicine are displayed optimally with simple operations in real time.

5. Stable image representation in luminance and color temperature even long-term use

The stabilization system for luminance and color temperature can automatically adjust luminance and color temperature in real time. The built-in color front sensor on the screen can realize constant measurement of color temperature and adjust the color temperature changes due to long-term use that the movable front sensor cannot.

6. Light up for the back and bottom of the monitor to support image reading in the dark room

The built-in rear light on the back of the monitor provides an eye-friendly environmental illuminance as indirect lighting, and the built-in reading light on the bottom illuminates the keyboard and mouse. The brightness of both lights can be adjustable to support working in the dark room.

7. Reduce the risk of infection and easy to keep clean and hygienic

An anti-reflection glass filter covers the surface of LCD. “Noiseless design” with few irregularities and gaps along with the wide-angle swivel, it is easy to wipe the main body to keep clean and hygienic.

8. Space saving by a wide screen

A 30.9-inch wide screen with a high resolution of 12 million pixels realizes 12% of space saving compared to the use of two conventional model 5-megapixel monitors side by side, contributing to expanding the workspace on the desk.

9. 12-megapixel high resolution image can be displayed with single cable

With the DisplayPort 1.4a, 12-megapixel high resolution image can be displayed with single cable. Displaying with two cables of DisplayPort 1.2 is also possible.

10. Simple wire management

With the DisplayPort, the use of daisy chains allows for easier wiring connections. In addition, a wire hole in the stand helps to reduce the load on the cable and raise, lower, rotate the screen smoothly.
