JVC Mobile Entertainment and JHG Partner to Drive "TURN ME ON 2" Video and Contest to New Heights
Contest prizes are four of JVC Mobile's in-car electronics featured in video
SAN DIEGO and LOS ANGELES - September 1, 2009 - JHG, a Southern California-based digital marketing agency, and JVC Mobile Entertainment, a division of JVC Americas Corp., and a leading developer and manufacturer of sophisticated mobile, audio and video products, have partnered to drive JVC Mobile's latest contest in conjunction with JVC's "TURN ME ON 2" video on the SPIN.com Web site. With JHG helping implement the viral marketing strategy, JVC Mobile Entertainment is offering video viewers the chance to tweet the URL of the video for the chance to win one of four JVC Mobile in-car electronics featured in the "TURN ME ON 2" video.
To enter the contest, which began on August 19, 2009 and runs through September 16, 2009, consumers 16 years of age and older must visit http://spin.com/turnmeon to watch the video and select the "Tweet Now" button for a chance to win. Contestants can tweet the message as many times as they want, increasing their chances to win one of several JVC Mobile prizes. The first contest winner was announced on August 26, 2009 via the JVC Mobile Twitter account (@JVCMobile), with three more winners to be announced on September 2, September 9 and September 17 also through @JVCMobile.
