Naturally the playback picture can be enjoyed in full widescreen dimensions on the LCD or on a connected widescreen TV. This Clear LCD cuts surface reflections and glare maintaining a clear, visible, bright view during outdoor recording in direct sunlight.
A convenient docking cradle is provided for easy viewing, charging and dubbing. Its all-in-one interface means there's no need to connect cables every time.
Everio has simple editing functions that can be done by the camera itself. With "Partial Delete" you can divide the selected video file into two, and make a copy of the desired section as a new video file. The Playlist function lets you select scenes and edited copies in the order you want for viewing or burning direct to DVD.
To make it easier to manage and search for the video clip you want to see, you can assign the appropriate category icon to it while you shoot or afterwards. It also helps when you just want to watch footage based on a certain theme, like Vacation, Birthday, Sports, etc., or when you want to burn just those scenes to a DVD.
With remote control operation, it's possible to connect the Everio to a TV and operate it from a distance, just like a DVD deck.
