The Enclosure

For the EX-D/EX-A systems and the SX-WD5, JVC has housed the Wood Cone Speaker in an enclosure made of wonderfully natural materials, taking greater advantage of its acoustic characteristics. In addition, the solid cherrywood enclosure gives a touch of class to the system.

The wooden enclosure is carefully finished with an 11-step process of painting and sanding, and its baffle board is 5/8-inch thick. The use of OFC for internal wiring and banana plug-compatible screw-type speaker terminals also contribute to sound quality.
