	The Smart Input Makes Life Simple It contains input jacks for Component Video, S-Video,and Composite Video all in one input. The Smart Input is perfectly suited to accept signals from an AV receiver with a Monitor Out containing Component Video, S-Video, and Composite Video.All the separate components connected to the AV receiver can be hooked-up via the receiver’s Monitor Out, directly to the Video Input-1 on the TV. The Smart Input constantly scans the available devices so when you select a new device through your AV receiver remote, the TV responds accordingly.

All models offer a built-in ATSC/QAM tuner. The built-in tuner allows you to receive over-the-air High Definition broadcasts. JVC offers Easy Programming Grid (EPG) to schedule future viewing easily and for recording through IEEE 1394 to i.LINK digital devices,such as JVC's D-VHS units.

All FN/FH models offer a CableCARD compatible slot in the rear jack panel. CableCARD eliminates the need to use a set top cable box to descramble programming. The usability of this feature is dependent upon your level of service and local cable company.

i.LINK is a digital interface that allows you to connect your TV to i.LINK compatible devices, such as a JVC D-VHS for recording purposes. i.LINK will transfer compressed digital audio and video signals. If you have multiple i.LINK compatible devices, they can be "daisy-chained" together so that the TV can access the digital signals from all the connected devices.
